The Camp David Accords, which was recognized by the first Arab country to the Zionist entity, constituted the first strategic victory for the Zionist project and for American policy in the Middle East, because it opened the door to a radical shift in the Arab position on the issue of the legitimacy of the entity that was established as part of a colonial scheme in the region.
